In August 2026, Latvian airline airBaltic carried 554 700 passengers across its network, representing a 5% increase compared with the same period last year. During the month, the airline operated 4 801 flights, up 7.9% year-on-year.
The airline’s load factor reached 83.9% in August 2026, a decrease of 2.3 percentage points compared with August 2025, primarily due to increased capacity compared with the same period last year.

During the first eight months of 2026, airBaltic carried a total of 3 567 000 passengers across its network, representing a 4% year-on-year increase and the highest passenger volume ever recorded for the January-August period. During the same period, the airline operated 33 220 flights, up 5.7% compared with the previous year.
Recently, airBaltic presented its Summer 2027 flight programme, offering 57 direct destinations from Riga, 13 from Tallinn, and 8 from Vilnius.
